About Cynthia Henderson
Cynthia Henderson is a dynamic and interactive workshop and meeting facilitator, executive coach, visioning guide and strategic planner, retreat speaker and leader, fund-raising strategist, trainer and management consultant with over 27 years experience in the fields of organizational development, higher education development and community development. Ms. Henderson has guided government agencies, colleges and universities, corporations and non-profit organizations through the process of effective supervision and communication, clarifying desired outcomes, planning and organizing, building teams, understanding roles and responsibilities, creating timelines, and monitoring implementation.

As a leadership development expert, Cynthia is skilled in keeping leaders and teams focused on accomplishing stated outcomes and clear about communication styles necessary to achieve goals. As an executive coach, certified by EiB (Excellence in a Box), Cynthia is masterful with guiding executives in one-on-one sessions to review their strengths and areas in need of strengthening and achieve their goals with a collaborative and enlightened leadership approach.

Education & Experience
Cynthia received a B.S. from Tuskegee University and a Master’s in Higher Education Administration from Auburn University. She has served as Director of Alumni Affairs and Executive Director of the National Alumni Association at Tuskegee University, and Vice President for Development and Special Events for the National Council of Negro Women, under the leadership of Dr. Dorothy Height in Washington, D.C. Additionally, Cynthia was appointed by the President of the United States as Region III Administrator for the U.S. Department of Education in Philadelphia, PA.
